According to ABC News, three people were killed in separate crashes on the Sunshine Coast and in Logan on Saturday night. A woman and a motorcycle rider died after a collision in Warana, while a male passenger died in a two-car crash at Underwood.
Police said the 68-year-old woman was walking across Nicklin Way in Warana when she was hit by a motorbike at about 8pm. The woman and the 30-year-old male motorcycle rider died at the scene.
Investigators are seeking assistance from another motorcycle rider and his female passenger, who were seen near the Warana crash. Police have asked them to come forward as inquiries continue.
In the separate Logan crash, police said a car travelling south on Kingston Road collided with another car at the intersection of Parramatta Road in Underwood at about 10:42pm. A male passenger in the second car, aged in his 30s, died at the scene.
The female driver of the second car was taken to hospital and remains in a critical condition. Another male passenger was reported to be in a stable condition. The driver of the other car was not injured. Police are appealing for information and any relevant video footage.
