A person was found dead after a Morphettville house was engulfed in flames. Emergency services were called just after 4:30 PM on March 13, 2026, to the house on Dalby Avenue, which was fully alight upon their arrival.

Firefighters worked quickly to extinguish the blaze; however, a person was found dead inside the home. Fire cause investigators and detectives have attended the scene, and police will be preparing a report for the coroner regarding the incident.

According to ABC News, authorities are now investigating the cause of the fire.
