Arabic version: الاتحاد الأوروبي يواصل فرض العقوبات على إيران حتى يتم الانتهاء من الاتفاق النووي
The European Union has announced that it will not lift key sanctions on Iran until a formal nuclear agreement is reached. This decision comes as the EU continues to navigate the complexities of international relations concerning Iran’s nuclear program.
Kaja Kallas, the EU’s foreign policy chief, emphasized that sanctions related to human rights will remain in place, regardless of the status of the nuclear negotiations. This stance highlights the EU’s commitment to addressing human rights issues alongside its geopolitical interests.
According to Al Jazeera, the bloc’s approach reflects a cautious strategy aimed at ensuring compliance with international norms while seeking to resolve the ongoing nuclear standoff with Iran.
