Among those killed this year, at least three have died from Israeli police fire, while the fatalities include five women and three minors under the age of 18. The ongoing violence continues to draw attention to the precarious situation faced by Palestinian citizens within Israel.

This surge in violence follows a record year in 2025, during which 252 individuals were killed in 218 separate incidents, as reported by the Abraham Initiatives, a non-governmental organization focused on monitoring violence among Palestinian citizens of Israel.
