According to Cnbc, President Donald Trump disclosed 1,156 securities purchases and sales made on his behalf in July, with transactions totaling roughly $79 million to $270 million. CNBC calculated purchases of at least $43.6 million and sales of at least $35.6 million.

The largest reported transactions were July 20 sales of between $5 million and $25 million each in Microsoft and Amazon. Three days later, the filing listed purchases of between $100,001 and $250,000 of Microsoft and between $1,001 and $15,000 of Amazon.

The same July 20 entries included sales of between $1 million and $5 million of Oracle, purchases of between $500,001 and $1 million of Nvidia, and a $250,001 to $500,000 sale of Northrop Grumman. The disclosure does not identify the time of the transactions or who made the investment decisions.

The filing also showed trading in companies led by Elon Musk. Trump bought between $15,001 and $50,000 of SpaceX shares on July 10 and sold between $1,001 and $15,000 on July 17. He also traded Tesla shares repeatedly, including sales totaling between $131,004 and $365,000 across four transactions before a July 27 purchase of between $100,001 and $250,000.

White House spokesman Davis Ingle said Trump’s stock and bond portfolio is independently managed by third-party financial institutions and that neither Trump nor his family can direct or influence investments. The July filing continued a pattern of extensive activity: Trump disclosed 1,051 transactions in June, while his 2025 annual filing showed more than 21,000 securities trades across eight accounts holding at least $858 million.
