The streets of Concord were filled with spooky fun and excitement as the Canada Bay Halloween Festival lit up Majors Bay Road on Thursday, 31 October. From 5–9pm, the festival transformed the heart of Concord into a vibrant and festive scene, where families and friends came together to celebrate Halloween in spectacular style.
Visitors of all ages enjoyed a range of thrilling activities, with the iconic trick-or-treat trail being a favourite among children eager to fill their bags with sweets. The community came alive with plenty of attractions, including face painting, street games, and even roving performers who added a touch of magic to the night. There were also incredible live music performances that set the perfect atmosphere, ensuring there was never a dull moment.

Adding to the excitement, a variety of local businesses took part, offering treats, interactive games, and Halloween-themed goodies. Among the crowd, notable members of the local community joined in the festivities, including Deputy Mayor of Canada Bay, Anthony Bazouni, who was spotted enjoying the celebrations. Remy Wehbe, Director of OZ Arab Media, was also in attendance, along with Mr Estephan, owner of El Jannah Restaurant, and Mr Charles Estephan, representing SHAREEF Shawarma, a new culinary addition soon to open in Concord.

The Halloween Festival was more than just a night of spooky entertainment; it was a wonderful display of community spirit. Families laughed together, neighbours met on the festive street, and the local businesses embraced the chance to make the night unforgettable for everyone.

This incredible community event was proudly funded by the NSW Government, in association with the City of Canada Bay and the Majors Bay Chamber of Commerce, showcasing what is possible when local government, businesses, and residents come together.
