In recognition of this act of philanthropy, the Magdi Yacoub Heart Center in Cairo has taken the momentous decision to honor His Highness Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum by naming its medical complex after him.
The newly constructed buildings will remarkably enhance the center’s capacity, enabling it to accommodate a remarkable 120,000 outpatients and perform a staggering 12,000 surgeries annually. This expansion will result in a total patient count of 132,000 per year.
The medical complex will house a comprehensive main center equipped with five operating rooms, five catheterization laboratories, a diagnostic and imaging center, 300 beds, and 36 outpatient clinics.
Moreover, the center is committed to tripling the number of graduates from its training programs, aiming to reach a total of 2,625 by training a remarkable 1,750 new healthcare specialists annually.
