The Al Marada Australia Annual Gala Dinner was held on Saturday, 22nd February 2025, at the Renaissance in Lidcombe, bringing together members of the Lebanese community in Australia for a night of solidarity, cultural pride, and unwavering support for Lebanon.
A highlight of the evening was a live conference call from Lebanon with MP Tony Frangieh, who addressed attendees with a powerful message about the crucial role of the Lebanese diaspora in Australia. He acknowledged their continuous contributions and emphasised how their support remains vital in sustaining Lebanon, especially in times of crisis. His words resonated deeply with the audience, reinforcing the strong connection between Lebanese expatriates and their homeland.

The event was a testament to the dedication of Al Marada Australia, led by President Rami Gitani and the organisation’s board members, whose efforts in fostering community engagement and strengthening ties with Lebanon have been instrumental.

A special thank you to Rami Gitani and the Al Marada Australia board for their kind invitation and ongoing support of Oz Arab Media. Their commitment to keeping the Lebanese spirit alive in Australia is truly commendable.

As we reflect on this inspiring evening, may we all remain united in our efforts, working together towards the prosperity of Lebanon and a brighter future for our families and friends back home.
