Al-Tersana Club will welcome the children of its members and readers of Alaa El-Din magazine next Thursday, September 3, for an artistic and cultural day that blends entertainment and creativity. The event is organized by the magazine in cooperation with Al-Tersana Club, with participation from the National Center for Child Culture.
The activities begin at 6:30 p.m. under the patronage of veteran journalist Hussein El-Zanati, editor-in-chief of Alaa El-Din magazine at Al-Ahram Foundation and First Deputy of the Journalists’ Syndicate, and MP Tarek Said Hassanain, chairman of Al-Tersana Club. The program includes storytelling workshops, drawing and coloring, face painting, performances by a magician and a clown, and a number of surprises that will create an atmosphere of joy and excitement for the children.
Hussein El-Zanati emphasized Alaa El-Din magazine’s commitment to reaching children across various clubs and institutions through activities that combine culture, art, and recreation, giving children the chance to learn and discover their talents in an engaging, interactive setting.
Yasmine El-Sisi, the event organizer at Manaret Al-Tersana, expressed her pleasure at hosting the club’s children for this occasion. She stressed that the collaboration with Alaa El-Din magazine offers an opportunity to present a different kind of day for children—one that mixes culture, fun, and talent discovery—and noted Manaret Al-Tersana’s dedication to organizing activities that enrich children’s experiences and provide broader spaces for creativity and participation.
Walaa Mohamed, director of the Cultural Garden in Sayeda Zeinab, also highlighted the importance of the cooperation between Alaa El-Din magazine and the National Center for Child Culture, saying that using engaging methods helps connect children to culture and Egyptian heritage and reinforces national and humanitarian values.
The day promises to bring the children many stories, laughs, colors, and surprises.
