According to France 24, Cameroon defeated tournament newcomers Malawi 3-0 in the final to win its first Women’s Africa Cup of Nations title.

Marie Ngah Manga scored twice for Cameroon, while Naomi Eto added another goal in the final.

Malawi reached the final in its first appearance at the tournament, but Cameroon secured the trophy with the three-goal victory.

Cameroon and Malawi both qualified for next year’s Women’s World Cup in Brazil. Morocco and Algeria also qualified.
