Dr. Aseel Al-Sharif, Chairman of the International Conference of Arab Influencers and an expert in training, development and international conference management, expressed his pleasure at the widening circle of Arab participation—from sister Arab countries and from diaspora communities. This expansion strengthens the conference’s slogan and central theme: when influence becomes a message and responsibility becomes a craft for the future in an age where the word travels faster than the wind and images speak louder than speeches. A single post can reach millions in moments. Influence is no longer mere fleeting fame or numbers on social platforms; it has become a responsibility and a real craft that helps shape awareness, build societies and create the future.
Dr. Al-Sharif added in his press remarks today, as he and his team finalize preparations in Cairo, that from this standpoint the preparations for the International Conference of Arab Influencers 2026 are intended to create a leading Arab platform. It will bring together top journalists, thinkers, academics, content creators and influencers from across the Arab world under the umbrella of a scientific and professional dialogue that seeks to consolidate the concept of positive influence and enhance the role of digital media in serving people and society.
He noted that the conference will be held on Friday, 4 September 2026, at the Orchid Hall in Cairo, with the participation of prominent Arab figures and experts in media, training, development and content creation. The event is described as the first of its kind in bringing together scientific, professional and media perspectives at the same time.
Dr. Al-Sharif said the conference carries a slogan that reflects its deep philosophy:
“Influence is a message… Leadership is a responsibility.”
True influence, he emphasized, is not measured only by the number of followers but by the influencer’s ability to create positive change in others’ lives, instill noble values, spread knowledge, stimulate creativity, and reinforce Arab belonging and identity. Through its specialized sessions, the conference will address several key issues, including the future of Arab digital media, the ethics of influence on online platforms, the role of influencers in building social awareness, creating purposeful content, and confronting rumors and misinformation. It will also showcase successful Arab experiences that have turned digital influence into an effective developmental, cultural and economic force.
The conference will also be an exceptional opportunity to build bridges between influencers and media institutions, academic bodies and sponsoring companies, contributing to the creation of strategic partnerships and high-quality initiatives that serve Arab societies and support sustainable development.
Recognizing that honoring achievement is a civilizational value that encourages giving, the conference will pay tribute to a number of Arab individuals and institutions that have left influential marks in media, culture, community development and humanitarian work, in appreciation of their efforts and inspiring contributions.
The International Conference of Arab Influencers is not a fleeting event that ends when its sessions conclude; it is a comprehensive Arab project that aims to establish a professional community for Arab influencers and launch sustainable initiatives that strengthen positive influence across sectors. It asserts that responsible media can be a true partner in driving renaissance and development.
In light of the accelerating global challenges, Dr. Al-Sharif stressed the greater need than ever for influencers who prioritize thought before fame, message before reach, and values before numbers—ambassadors of awareness, development and inspiration. “We are not looking for influencers who create noise, but for those who create impact; not for temporary reach, but for messages that endure; not for fleeting stardom, but for leadership that shapes the future,” he said.
Addressing all Arab influencers from Cairo—the beating heart of Arabism—Dr. Al-Sharif sent the conference’s message to every Arab influencer: make your influence a value, your presence a message, and your platform a pulpit for awareness and construction. Nations rise not by the number of voices but by the strength of their messages and the sincerity of those who carry them. With this vision, the International Conference of Arab Influencers opens its doors to a new phase of joint Arab work, where thought meets media, expertise meets experience, and influence meets responsibility for a more aware, radiant and impactful Arab future.
Dr. Al-Sharif added that he feels proud and honored, on behalf of himself and his colleagues on the Supreme Organizing Committee, to have extended invitations to Arab and international personalities from across the beloved Arab homeland and from diaspora communities. These invitations recognize thinkers and creators across all fields—scientific, practical, academic, artistic and media—who contribute to shaping comprehensive Arab thought and sentiment.
