Arabic version: إطلاق نار من سيارة يستهدف منزلاً في كارولاين سبرينغز

According to ABC News, a house and a car in Caroline Springs, in Melbourne’s west, were targeted in an overnight drive-by shooting. Victoria Police said several shots were fired from a vehicle at a home in Flinders Place at about 12.45am.

Four people were inside the property when the shots were fired, but none was injured. The front of the house was marked with numerous bullet holes, while a vehicle at the address was sprayed with bullets.

Police said the offenders fled in a silver Toyota Corolla. The car was later found burnt out in Deer Park. A crime scene was established at the Caroline Springs property, and detectives said their investigation was ongoing.

Neighbours told ABC News they heard two separate rounds of gunshots in the middle of the night. They said occupants of a vehicle fired at the house before speeding away. Neighbours also said a vehicle arrived and parked at the home a short time later and remained there. They said it was not the first time the house had been shot at.
