Introducing the organisation:
The Australian Egyptian Forum Council Inc. was established in 1993 on the foundation of several community group since 1968. Although we are a small voluntary organisation, we have diverse activities, for example:
- the celebration of the HSW High achievers, the last event was in February this year.
- The Back to Roots Trips back to Egypt for young egyptians (18-35) to re-immerse in the Egyptian culture and history and present.
- We celebrate the National Day and announce the Egyptian of the Year as well as the Australian Friend of the Egyptian community.
- The Annual Cultural festival this year in November
- We also have the Arabic Book Club; a monthly cultural and literary meeting every second Tuesday of the Month
- We established with members of the NSW Parliament “The Parliamentary Friends of Egypt”
