Member for East Hills, Kylie Wilkinson MP, brought together community members and local leaders for a festive Christmas party held at her Revesby office on Thursday, celebrating another year of grassroots service and collaboration.

The event attracted a strong cross-section of the community, with representatives from various organisations joining residents to mark the end of the year in a warm and inclusive atmosphere. Among the attendees were the Federal Member for Banks, Zhi Soon MP, and Councillor David Walsch of Canterbury Bankstown Council, highlighting the spirit of cooperation across all levels of government.

Addressing the gathering, Mrs Wilkinson thanked everyone for their ongoing commitment to the local community, acknowledging the countless hours of volunteer work, advocacy, and support that help strengthen East Hills and its surrounding suburbs. She emphasised the importance of recognising everyday efforts that often go unseen but make a lasting difference to people’s lives.

A highlight of the afternoon was the presentation of community awards, with Ms Wilkinson recognising individuals for a range of achievements and contributions. The awards celebrated dedication, leadership, and service, reinforcing the value of community-driven action and local pride.

The Christmas party served not only as a festive celebration but also as a reflection of the strong relationships between residents, community organisations, and elected representatives. It closed on a positive note, with a shared sense of gratitude and optimism heading into the holiday season and the year ahead.
