“I live by a simple saying and that’s ‘anything is possible.’ No matter who you are and where you come from.”

The moment Stephanie Milostic was named the winner of AIM Association’s annual talent competition, the hall erupted in applause. Her soulful mashup of Aretha Franklin classics electrified the audience and reminded everyone that “music brings us all together, in the good times and the bad.”

The Australian International Multicultural (AIM) Association created the annual talent competition to showcase the richness of Australia’s multicultural community, and this year’s performances reflected that diversity through music, dance, and storytelling.

Stephanie’s win represents more than individual success. It is a celebration of the organisation’s mission in action; championing cultural diversity and understanding.

A Sydney native, Stephanie comes from a big, music loving European family with Lebanese, Croatian and Greek roots. This vibrant mix of relatives encouraged her to sing from a young age.

“My mashup of Think and Respect represents my culture and family as whenever my family is together, we are big, loud and vibrant which I feel this song mirrors.”

“My family has been my biggest supporters, especially my mum and dad. They have always been there through all my highs and lows. Including, driving me to performances, helping with clothing, makeup, filming for social media and just being there when I need them.”

Stephanie on The Voice Australia

Professionally, Stephanie has been performing across Australia for more than eight years. In 2024, she appeared on The Voice Australia as part of Team Adam Lambert, and since then she has worked with worldwide artists such as Delta Goodrem and The Marine Rapper, as well as major networks such as ABC, Channel 7 and SBS. Her original music has resonated widely, amassing more than 650,000 streams on Spotify.

That blend of experience continues to fuel her creative voice, making the recent win especially meaningful.

“My goal for my music and singing is to push myself and have fun during every performance. So, it was so nice to know that not only do I believe in my talent, but a packed audience and other performers believed in me and had fun during my performance.”

She hopes to use her platform to spread joy and connection through her work.

“I want to make people smile. In everything I post and perform I hope people have fun and know that they are never alone. As I believe music brings us all together.”

Stephanie’s win is both a personal triumph and a reflection of the AIM Association’s mission to promote diversity and inclusion. As her music continues to reach new audiences, Stephanie continues to remind people that no matter their background “anything is possible.”

On November 7, Stephanie is set to release her latest single and music video, “numb.” Catch the release and stay up to date with Stephanie on her Instagram or Spotify.
