Student Parliament with Hilltop Road Public School

Merrylands Council Chambers got a mini-makeover, courtesy of the optimistic young minds from Hilltop Road Public School. They ran their own student parliament with so much passion, big ideas, and future-leader energy in the room. It was such a pleasure speaking with such thoughtful, engaged, and ambitious students. I might have just met a future Councillor/Mayor… or even Prime Minister! Either way, they’re ready to smash through that glass ceiling. 

Guildford Gears Up for a Feel-Good Comeback with Food, Friends & Festival Fun!

Guildford is set to come alive with the return of the Back to Guildford Festival on Saturday 24 May, from 4pm to 9pm along Guildford Road. So, get ready for a free fun-filled evening with awesome entertainment, delicious food, vibrant market stalls, community activities for all ages, and a show-stopping display of muscle cars that’ll have car lovers revving with excitement.
