Marching Forward: Celebrating Cumberland Women Who Accelerate Change!

Happy International Women’s Day (IWD) to all the incredible women of Cumberland! This IWD, we celebrate YOU, every woman, leader, volunteer, worker, changemaker and trailblazer who is shaping our community. This year, we’re launching a special video campaign to highlight the diverse roles, achievements, and contributions of women in Cumberland. From women who inspire us through overcoming adversity to those who have smashed barriers and succeeded in whatever they set their minds to. Take a look around and see that we are surrounded by strength, resilience, and power.

Together, we have the collective strength to create real change. Let’s continue to break barriers and support one another in building a future where gender equality is the norm, not the exception. Women’s equality begins with our children, teaching them the values of respect, fairness, and opportunity for all, regardless of gender.
