According to BBC News, BBC football pundit Troy Deeney has named Alexander Isak, Ezri Konsa, Tyrick Mitchell and Harvey Barnes in his latest Premier League Team of the Week, alongside Everton manager David Moyes.

Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya was selected after what Deeney described as huge saves and big moments. Konsa also made the side following a solid display, including a major tackle on Morgan Rogers. Deeney said Konsa fits into an already “incredible Arsenal team” and could play at right-back when players are fit and available.

Liverpool defender Ronald Araujo was included after playing at right-back, while Crystal Palace left-back Mitchell earned recognition after scoring two goals. Deeney called Mitchell “Mr Consistent” and said he is not spoken about enough. Newcastle’s Barnes was chosen after scoring with a finish into the far corner.

Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard, Liverpool’s Cody Gakpo, Fulham’s Cesar Palacios and Brentford’s Vitaly Janelt also featured. Deeney described Palacios and Janelt as solid players who get the job done, while he credited Gakpo with creating two goals from midfield.

Isak was picked in attack alongside Arsenal’s Kai Havertz. Deeney defended Isak against criticism, noting that he had two injuries last season, including a broken leg. He called Havertz Arsenal’s best striker and best finisher. Moyes completed the selections after Everton delivered a result despite, in Deeney’s view, a bad transfer window and the loss of attacking options.
