After many reschedules due to COVID, the Canterbury-Bankstown Chamber of Commerce was finally able to hold their first, and quite successful, workshop entitled “Digi Talk” on Monday, 21st February, 2022 at the Panania Diggers Club.
After ample time for the members and guests to get to know one another informally and start building connections, Mr. Wally Mhanna, the CEO of the CBCC welcomed the guests and introduced Sandra and Jessica, the newest board members of the organisations. Afterwards, Anna from Westfund and Jo from Collabor8 took the stage to discuss various ways businesses should be employing in order to benefit from what the digital world of websites and social media has to offer.
Once the keynote presentation was done, the two ladies answered many guests’ questions and then Wally invited some of the members to introduce themselves and their businesses. Once done, the entrepreneurs in the room went back to doing what they do best, and that is networking.
The CBCC is planning to hold another similar event in March, in addition to the women’s day event.
