According to Allafrica, drone strikes killed civilians in West Darfur and West Kordofan on Saturday, while further attacks targeted military installations in eastern Sudan. A fire also destroyed between 75 and 80 commercial stalls in Northern State.

In Bir Saliba, Sarba locality in West Darfur, a drone strike attributed to the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces killed several people, including six women, and injured five others. Sources said most victims were displaced people who had travelled to the area for agricultural work. The Joint Force, allied with the Sudanese Armed Forces, took control of Bir Saliba in early October, while fighting continued nearby.

The Kordofan Observatory reported that a Sudanese Armed Forces drone strike hit a civilian lorry near Ankush in West Kordofan, killing four civilians, including three women, and injuring others. The vehicle was travelling from Abu Zabad locality towards El Mazroub in North Kordofan, carrying civilians including patients seeking medical treatment and people going shopping.

The Observatory also said a drone attack killed three civilians in Fouja area on Wednesday, while a separate strike killed a child in El Janana village near Wad Banda. It said attacks on civilians and civilian vehicles violated international humanitarian law and could amount to war crimes, calling for documentation and accountability.

In eastern Sudan, drones targeted military sites in El Gedaref, Khashm El Girba and the Upper Atbara and Setit Dam Complex on Sunday morning. Air defences reportedly intercepted several drones, and no casualties were reported. In El Burgeig market, residents said explosions were heard before a fire spread through stalls packed with goods; initial accounts attributed the blaze to an electrical fault.
