As Sham al-Nessim approaches, the Egyptian National Railways Authority has announced a special one-day trip to celebrate the occasion on Monday.
In a statement posted on its official Facebook page, the authority explained that the trip will depart from Cairo at seven am on Monday, and return from Sidi Gaber Station at six pm on the same day.
The train will stop at the Benha, Tanta, Etay el Baroud, Damietta, and Sidi Gaber stations.
The authority has assured that the train will undergo thorough maintenance before the trip to ensure the best possible service for passengers.
The ticket price is LE100 per person and includes round-trip transportation.
The Egyptian National Railways Authority has a tradition of launching day trips during spring holidays and Sham El Nessim.
Last year’s trip witnessed a high turnout from citizens who enjoyed the unique experience.
