According to Al Jazeera, massive explosions struck a Syrian army ammunition depot south of Aleppo, injuring at least four people. The blasts rocked the area near the northern Syrian city, where a weapons depot was hit by repeated explosions.

Exploding missiles and ammunition complicated efforts to reach and assist those affected. The continuing detonations hampered rescue operations at the site, creating a dangerous situation for responders as ammunition continued to explode.

Authorities closed nearby roads following the explosions. The road closures were imposed as the blasts continued to affect the area around the Syrian army depot south of Aleppo.
