Fennell Street Car Park has reopened in North Parramatta, restoring 98 car spaces, including 2 accessible bays and 10 motorcycle spaces for residents, workers and visitors.

The upgraded open-air car park is close to the Parramatta Light Rail and about a 10 minute walk from CommBank Stadium, providing affordable access for local businesses, commuters and event visitors.

City of Parramatta Lord Mayor Cr Martin Zaiter said the reopening would improve access to North Parramatta and support the local economy.

“Fennell Street Car Park gives residents, workers and visitors a practical and affordable parking option close to light rail, local businesses and CommBank Stadium,” Cr Zaiter said.

“The restoration included pavement, retaining wall, stormwater, fencing, access, line-marking, parking meter and signage works to return the facility to safe, reliable operation.

“This investment restores important parking capacity and helps people get to North Parramatta businesses, public transport and major events.”

All-day parking is available for $10.70, subject to the conditions displayed at the car park.

Fennell Street Car Park is now open for public use.
