According to Cnbc, Figma shares fell 7% in extended trading after the design software company reported third-quarter results and guidance that exceeded Wall Street expectations. Figma posted adjusted earnings per share of 10 cents, above the 5 cents expected by analysts surveyed by LSEG. Revenue reached $391.4 million, surpassing the $375.8 million consensus estimate.

Revenue increased about 43% from a year earlier, Figma said. Its net loss narrowed to $81.3 million, or 15 cents per share, from a $1.10 billion loss, or $2.72 per share, in the prior-year period. The company reported a 12% adjusted operating margin, compared with the 6.1% consensus among analysts polled by StreetAccount.

Figma raised its full-year outlook, forecasting an 11% operating margin after projecting 9% in August. It expects 2026 revenue of $1.497 billion to $1.499 billion, up from its previous range of $1.463 billion to $1.467 billion. Analysts surveyed by LSEG had expected $1.471 billion in annual revenue. For the fourth quarter, Figma expects revenue growth of about 33%, while LSEG-polled analysts had predicted 28% growth.

Finance chief Praveer Melwani said the company expects growth to slow but is trading short-term revenue for longer-term benefits by providing clients with more AI credits while maintaining prices. Figma said weekly users at organizations spending more than $10,000 that used AI credits rose almost 50% during the quarter. The company’s shares were down about 41% in 2026, while the S&P 500 had gained 12%.
