According to Al Jazeera, a 15-year-old boy was killed in an apparent Israeli double-tap strike in Gaza after rushing to help a paramedic who had been wounded in an attack moments earlier.

The paramedic was also killed in the strike, Al Jazeera reported. The report described the incident as a double-tap attack, in which another strike followed shortly after the first attack.

Al Jazeera said Israel has killed around one child per day in Gaza since the 2025 “ceasefire”. The report was published on September 16, 2026.
