According to Al Jazeera, a Gaza Civil Defence worker helped recover the bodies of 21 relatives from beneath the rubble of his destroyed family home after waiting nearly three years to reach them.

The recovery took place after the worker was finally able to access the site where his family home had been destroyed, Al Jazeera reported.

Israel’s war in Gaza began in October 2023. Since then, more than 73,000 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza, according to the report.
