With dozens of exciting Lebanese productions, this year’s edition of the Lebanese Film Festival promises to be bigger and better than ever before. Attractive titles to be featured include “The Insult”, “Beirut After 40”, “Enough, Lebanon’s Darkest Hour”, and a host of other award-winning titles across a variety of genres.  The long-awaited Opening Night of the event will take place at the Bryan Brown Theatre in Bankstown on Thursday, 25 August 2022 and is bound to be an unforgettable celebration of Lebanese culture and cinematography. After the opening, screenings will take place at a variety of venues between Bankstown and Broadway. The event also includes a free Short Film Program at Bankstown Arts Centre on Sunday, 28 August 2022, but you need to book your tickets asap because they are running out fast. As for the Closing Night, it will take place on 10 September at HOYTS Bankstown.

One of the special features of the event that you shouldn’t miss is a special guest appearance by International Award-Winning Director Ziad Doueiri followed by a Q&A session with him on August 26 after the screening of his film “The Insult”. You’ll need to book for that event asap if you don’t want to miss it.

Just by looking at the program, we can see that the Lebanese Film Festival 2022 will be the event of the season, so book early to avoid disappointment. And here’s a special treat for you: you can win complimentary tickets to some of the film sessions if you participate in Oz Arab Media’s raffle*!
