Get ready for a whirlwind of fun and learning, as we dive into the vibrant world of springtime these school holidays.

The City of Canterbury Bankstown has a fun-filled school holiday program planned that includes exciting activities that spark creativity to thrilling outdoor adventures that embrace the season.

Canterbury-Bankstown Mayor Bilal El-Hayek said Council knew how important school holiday activities were for local families.

“Increased living costs are hurting many families, but that doesn’t stop kids from wanting to have fun,” Mayor El-Hayek said.

“Most of our spring school holiday activities are free, and others are very low cost.

“We’ve also made sure we have a broad range of activities to include something for every kid to enjoy.”

Some spring school holiday activities include:

• Skate clinics;

• Bondi to Coogee coastal walk;

• Welcome to Canterbury-Bankstown picnic;

• Dance Across Cultures workshop;

• Aboriginal native walkshop;

• Family movie night

• Cycle skills fun day;

• Clay Club;

• Cookie decorating workshop;

• Origami making;

• Basketball skills;

• Bugs and Beast show; and

• Wind chime making.

Registrations are essential, with many activities selling out quickly.
