According to ABC News, an 11-year-old girl has died and a woman is in a serious condition after a two-vehicle crash in Moana, south of Adelaide.

Emergency services were called to Commercial Road at about 6:45pm, where a Nissan sedan collided with a Subaru station wagon. The girl, who was a passenger in the Nissan, died at the scene.

The Nissan driver, a 35-year-old woman from Christie Downs, was taken to hospital with serious injuries. The Subaru driver, a 37-year-old man from Seaford Meadows, was also taken to hospital, with minor injuries.

Major crash investigators are examining the collision. South Australian Police have asked witnesses, or anyone with dashcam footage, to come forward.
