Zack Polanski’s recent claims regarding breast enlargement hypnosis have come under scrutiny following the discovery of an old interview. Polanski, who was elected leader of the Green Party of England and Wales in September 2025, previously worked as a hypnotherapist and proposed hypnosis as a method for increasing breast size during a 2013 session with a newspaper reporter.

According to BBC News, Polanski has stated that he was misrepresented and claimed to have apologized the day after the article was published. However, the BBC could not find any evidence of such an apology, although he did defend his views in a subsequent interview with BBC Radio Humberside six days later.

In that 2013 interview, Polanski suggested that anecdotal evidence was emerging to support the potential for breast size growth through hypnosis, stating, “the evidence is growing.” He described the practice as an experiment requiring further research, contradicting his later assertions that he never believed in its efficacy.

Since becoming Green Party leader, Polanski has distanced himself from these claims. In interviews, he has repeatedly stated he was misrepresented and emphasized his immediate apology following the Sun article. However, critics, including a Labour Party source, have accused him of dishonesty, asserting that his claims of misrepresentation are unfounded.

As the Green Party leader, Polanski is now focusing on pressing issues such as reducing living costs and enhancing public services, distancing himself from the controversy surrounding his past hypnotherapy claims.
