According to Cnbc, U.S. Trade Representative Jamieson Greer reported roughly $1.17 million to $3.75 million in cash, retirement accounts and other investments in his newly obtained 2025 annual financial disclosure.
The 16-page Office of Government Ethics filing provides a new view of the finances of President Donald Trump’s top trade official after he left a partnership at King & Spalding to join the administration in February 2025. Greer reported receiving $652,610 in salary and bonus from the law firm in 2025.
An account labeled “U.S. bank #2” rose from a reported range of $250,001-$500,000 in Greer’s nominee filing to $500,001-$1 million in the newer disclosure. The account generated $15,001-$50,000 in interest. Federal disclosures use broad asset ranges, and the filing does not determine Greer’s precise wealth or net worth.
The disclosure also listed a mortgage between $1 million and $5 million at a 2.375% interest rate. Greer’s personal residence was not valued in the filing.
CNBC’s review of financial and ethics records identified a timeline involving Coupang. Greer received a $10,000 honorarium from the e-commerce company in May 2024, then met with the company at USTR on April 24, 2025, 11 months later. Public records did not show whether USTR considered Coupang a former client under Greer’s ethics commitment or whether he received authorization for the meeting. USTR and Coupang did not immediately respond to CNBC’s requests for comment.
