Sydney, Monday, 15 December 2025: Harman Foundation will host its 13th Annual Fundraising Gala – “Light & Hope: Creating Hope and Empowering Lives”, on Saturday, 28 February 2026, at Bowman Hall, Blacktown. Our last gala was a huge success, the turnout was over 350 people and we received enthusiastically positive feedback on how impactful and uplifting our highlight item was – a dignity walk that got the entire hall standing and waving.
In 2026 we plan to bring even more energizing and thought-provoking event. To share the stories of hope and empowerment created at the HER House, enabled by the tireless efforts of the Harman Foundation team and volunteers. We promise to give an evening of change making, connecting with community, and some finger-licking worthy food.
As a thank you to all the love and support our community has given us last year, we have launched an early bird special tickets – $85 per person or $850 for table of ten. This is a holidays offer expiring on 31st December, after which the full price will apply. From 1st January 2026, single ticket will be $99 and a table of ten for $950. Tickets can be booked online on the Humanitix website – https://events.humanitix.com/light-and-hope-fundraising-gala
The Harman Foundation team will also unveil its annual impact report at the event and share the highlights of the meaningful work done over FY25. The gala will be graced by key supporters and sponsors, and engagement will include dances, raffle, auction, and more.
About Harman Foundation:
Harman Foundation’s purpose is to create hope and empower lives. Founded in 2013, we are regarded as the expert support service provider for women and their children seeking refuge from domestic, sexual, and family violence, and for addressing distinctive issues faced by the wider South Asian Communities. The founders, Harinder and Maninder, started the organisation as a tribute to their late son, with the simple intention of offering grief and loss support to the multicultural community in NSW. Soon they became aware of the most pressing needs of the community and this led to the organic evolution of the organisation to become the trusted support system for women across Australia. So far, we’ve uplifted the lives of over 2000+ families including 110 women and their 22 children through our refuge, HER House.
