Linsimon Estate owners Linda and Simon Sassine hosted a magnificent Harvest Party on Sunday, 25 January 2026, welcoming guests to their stunning property in the Hunter Valley for a day of generosity, tradition and community spirit in support of Heartfelt Community.

More than 100 guests attended the celebration, which began with a hands-on harvest experience as attendees picked grapes directly from the vine before taking part in an old-school grape-crushing session. The immersive start set the tone for a relaxed and joyful day among the vineyards at 32 Latitude Wines.

Guests were treated to warm hospitality, a generous Lebanese buffet lunch, live music and entertainment, alongside a range of fundraising activities including a popular wine wall. A variety of prizes were up for grabs, such as a weekend getaway at Linsimon Estate, hot air balloon experiences, winery stays and restaurant vouchers.

The event successfully raised over $12,000, with all proceeds going towards supporting Heartfelt Community and its important work.

Heartfelt Community was founded in October 2020 by Bridget Sakr and was established following the devastating loss of her daughter Veronique and her cousins in the Oatlands tragedy. Inspired by faith, the charity provides a safe and trusted space where grief can be openly expressed, heard and supported. Through meaningful connection and shared understanding, Heartfelt Community helps individuals navigate loss by creating opportunities for healing, reflection and meaning-making during some of life’s most difficult moments.

The organisation expressed deep gratitude for the love, generosity and ongoing support shown by Linda and Simon Sassine, whose commitment made the event possible.

Oz Arab Media was represented at the event by Elie Kaltoum, who joined guests in celebrating a day that beautifully combined community, culture and compassion.
