The family of US conservative activist Charlie Kirk came face-to-face with his alleged killer, Tyler Robinson, during a court hearing on Monday. According to BBC News, Kirk was fatally shot on 10 September 2025 while speaking at Utah Valley University, kicking off an intense manhunt that led to Robinson’s arrest days later.

During the hearing, new evidence was presented, including surveillance footage that law enforcement said showed Robinson on campus four times the day of the shooting. Witnesses testified about the chaos that ensued after Kirk was shot, with one law enforcement officer reporting a rifle shot and describing a scene of panic. He also mentioned discovering suspicious evidence leading him to believe it might not be the right suspect.
