On Friday, May 1st, His Eminence Bishop Yusuf, the Metropolitan of Texas, Florida, and the Southern United States, presided over the Divine Liturgy at the Church of St. George the Great Martyr in Nashville, Tennessee. This event was attended by His Eminence Bishop Theophilus, Bishop of Manfalout and its dependencies, along with a number of priests from the Nashville church. The liturgy marked the conclusion of a spiritual revival in celebration of the feast of the martyrdom of their patron saint, St. George.

Later that evening, Bishop Yusuf led the vigil of the Divine Liturgy at the same church. During the service, he anointed the relics of St. George, and the church choir performed several spiritual hymns. The evening concluded with a spiritual sermon delivered by the bishop.
