His Grace Anthony, the Bishop of Scotland, Ireland, and North East England, presided over the Divine Liturgy yesterday morning, Saturday, February 21, in Hastings, South England. The service was attended by Bishop Barnabas of Turin and Rome, along with Bishop Abakir, the Bishop of the Scandinavian countries.

During the liturgy, several icons were consecrated, and a special ceremony was held for the ordination of Deacon Mina Yuhanna George, who shares the same name, to serve at the altar and among the congregation of the Church of the Virgin Mary and the Martyr Prince Tadros al-Shatbi in Hastings. Following his ordination, he will spend the following forty days at the Monastery of St. Athanasius the Apostolic in England.
