According to Al Jazeera, Israel’s election panel has voted to disqualify the two main Palestinian-led lists from next month’s election.

The decision also bars Hadash lawmaker Ofer Cassif. Responding to the move, Cassif told Al Jazeera that Israel had become a “fully fledged fascist dictatorship”.

The disqualifications are not final. Appeals are expected over the decision concerning the Palestinian-led lists and Cassif.
