An Israeli air attack has killed at least three Palestinians in Gaza, while its forces arrested at least 30 others during military raids across several cities in the occupied West Bank. The attack occurred on April 13, 2026, targeting a group of men gathered outside a school in Deir el-Balah, according to Al Jazeera.

Medics at Al-Aqsa Hospital reported that the victims’ bodies were laid out in white shrouds outside the morgue, where mourners gathered to pay their respects. Relatives expressed grief, with some kissing the foreheads of the deceased before holding prayers in their memory.

The Israeli military has not issued any immediate comments regarding the airstrike. These killings come at a time when mediators are engaged in discussions with leaders from Hamas to reinforce a fragile ceasefire that was brokered by the United States last October, following a prolonged conflict in Gaza.

Since the ceasefire began, more than 750 Palestinians have reportedly been killed, while four Israeli soldiers have lost their lives due to Hamas fighters. Tensions remain high, with accusations exchanged between Israel and Hamas regarding violations of the ceasefire agreement. Additionally, Israeli forces have intensified their operations in the West Bank, leading to significant casualties and detentions among the Palestinian population.

The Palestinian Prisoners Media Office confirmed that among those arrested were two children and several previously detained individuals. The military raids involved searches of homes and resulted in property damage, further escalating the situation in the region. As discussions continue among Palestinian factions and mediators, the future of the ceasefire remains uncertain, with calls for disarmament and a complete cessation of hostilities at the forefront of negotiations.
