Israeli military operations have resulted in the deaths of at least 11 Palestinians, including two children, during a series of strikes across the Gaza Strip. This incident marks a significant breach of the ceasefire agreement with Hamas that was established on October 10, 2022. According to Al Jazeera, the casualties include a three-year-old and a 14-year-old, highlighting the ongoing violence in the region.

The strikes occurred in various locations, with Gaza’s Civil Defence reporting that four individuals, including the three-year-old, were killed in a targeted attack on a police vehicle in Gaza City. The Ministry of Interior noted that the airstrike not only resulted in fatalities but also left at least nine bystanders injured, some in critical condition.

In a separate incident later in the day, another airstrike targeted civilians near an intersection in the Shati refugee camp, resulting in multiple fatalities. Medics at Al-Shifa Hospital confirmed that they received five bodies from this attack, which was described as involving an Israeli drone that fired two missiles at a group of people.

Despite the ceasefire, Israeli forces have reportedly conducted daily strikes on Gaza, leading to the deaths of nearly 760 Palestinians since the truce was initiated. The Gaza Ministry of Health has reported an additional 2,111 injuries due to these ongoing attacks since the ceasefire began, underscoring the continuing humanitarian crisis in the region.
