Arabic version: استراتيجية إسرائيل في الحرب الدائمة قيد الدراسة من قبل المحللين
Israel is in a race against time to “lock in its domination” across the Middle East, according to political analyst Daniel Levy. Levy, president of the US/Middle East Project, discussed this approach during an interview with Steve Clemons. He suggested that this strategy allows Israel to create a regional landscape where countries are either dependent on it or “too collapsed, failed and fragile to pose any challenge”.
According to Al Jazeera, Levy emphasized that Israel’s actions include advocating for “just one more major military operation” against Iran. He noted that this is part of a broader strategy to disrupt any potential US-Iran agreements, which could alter the power dynamics in the region.
Levy pointed out that Israel’s ongoing military actions against Lebanese and Palestinian targets occur despite the existence of ceasefires on paper, highlighting a pattern of escalation rather than de-escalation. He described this situation as a critical race against time for Israel to solidify its control in a volatile region.
