According to BBC News, Match of the Day pundit Martin Keown has examined the red card shown to Cole Palmer during Chelsea’s 2-0 Premier League defeat to Tottenham.

The former Arsenal defender agreed with the decision to dismiss Palmer. Keown also suggested that Palmer was fortunate not to have been shown a straight red card for an earlier incident.

The analysis asks whether Palmer should have been sent off sooner than he was in the match. Chelsea lost 2-0 to Tottenham.
