US President Donald Trump was briefly heckled during his speech at the Knesset by Ayman Odeh, a member of parliament, Al Jazeera reported. 

Trump’s speech was interrupted as security officials dragged people out of the parliament and snatched away banners. 

“Only ending the occupation, and only recognising the State of Palestine alongside Israel, will bring justice, peace, and security to all,” Odeh wrote on social media company X before the session began. 

Trump’s brief visit to Israel includes an address to the Knesset, before he departs for Egypt to co-chair an international summit aimed at ending the war in Gaza.
