According to ABC News, Brisbane will seek to keep its three-peat hopes alive when it meets Adelaide in an AFL semifinal at the Gabba on Saturday night.
The reigning premier Lions enter the match after a qualifying-final loss to Sydney, while Adelaide progressed following an elimination-final victory over the Western Bulldogs. The winner will face Hawthorn in a preliminary final next week.
Brisbane has made one change during the week, with Ty Gallop returning after Noah Answerth was injured. Adelaide has brought in Zac Taylor after Isaac Cumming was dropped. ABC News reported there were no late changes for either side.
Brisbane is chasing a third consecutive premiership after winning the previous two seasons. Adelaide, coached by Matthew Nicks, ended its 2025 campaign poorly but produced a last-quarter finish against the Bulldogs to advance.
The Crows’ forward line was central to their win over the Bulldogs and will again be important against Brisbane. The semifinal is one of four remaining games in the season, with five teams still in contention.
