Britain’s Lone’ er Kavanagh claimed the biggest win of his career as he upset former UFC flyweight champion Brandon Moreno in Mexico City. Kavanagh won by unanimous decision with scores of 49-46, 48-47, and 48-47, marking a remarkable upset given he was unranked before the fight.
According to BBC News, Kavanagh took the fight against Moreno on just three weeks’ notice after his original opponent, Asu Almabayev, withdrew due to injury.
