‘Lonely Planet’ website recommends seven beaches in Egypt

Under the title “7 of the best beaches in Egypt: from the Med to the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aqaba,” the famous Australian website Lonely Planet highlighted seven beaches in Egypt for tourists.

The report stated that in addition to the unique archaeological destinations in Egypt from the the Great Pyramids of Giza and the vastness of the Valley of the Kings which attract travelers from all over the world, Egypt enjoys stunning coastlines with luxury resorts that provide the opportunity to enjoy diving in the clear waters of the Red Sea with its picturesque marine life. This is in addition to the beaches overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.

The report shed light on the beaches of the North Coast, especially the New Alamein City and Almaza Bay, where the beaches of this coast are characterized by its pure white sand and clear blue water, in addition to high-end hotels, resorts and restaurants. It is also characterized by calm views of the beaches of the Mediterranean where visitors can enjoy beach sports such as windsurfing and kayaking.

The report also highlighted the beaches of the Red Sea, referring to the beaches of Dahab and describing it as the ideal place to return to nature, relax and enjoy many marine activities.

The report also referred to Naama Bay in Sharm el-Sheikh, describing its beaches as having white sand that harmonizes beautifully with the deep turquoise waters of the Red Sea, where tourists enjoy swimming and diving.

As for Fjord Bay, which is located 15 kilometers south of the city of Taba, the report considered it the best diving beach where tourists can enjoy snorkeling, watching unique coral reefs and hiking through the mountains.

In the city of Hurghada, the report said tourists can enjoy a wonderful cruise to watch dolphins, as well as enjoy stunning sunset views, and practice scuba diving.

The report talked about al-Nayzak Beach, which is located 13 km south of Marsa Alam city, where the waters are warm throughout the year and is considered a “stunning marvel”.
