According to Al Jazeera, thousands of Palestinians attended a mass funeral in Gaza City for 100 people whose bodies were recovered from rubble.

The dead included 70 children, Al Jazeera reported. Mourners gathered to honour loved ones after their bodies were retrieved from destroyed buildings.

Authorities say thousands more people remain buried under rubble in Gaza City. The buildings were destroyed during Israel’s war on Gaza.

The funeral was reported on September 6, 2026.
