With the NSW State Elections coming up in March 2023, candidates are gearing up for the election that may redefine NSW. At the Grayhound Club in Rookwood, The Hon Jihad Dib MP for Lakemba participated in a “Meet the Candidate” session for the NSW Labor Party on Saturday, 12 November 2022. This session was attended by Labor Rank and File members including Mayor Khal Asfour and Clrs Bilal Elhayek, Chris Cahill and Rachelle Harika of the City of Canterbury Bankstown.
In his speech, Jihad Dib touched upon a variety of very important topics for the area such as education, energy, the health system, community support, social justice, Bankstown CBD developments, cost of living, and many others. Despite all the threats that we face nowadays, Mr. Dib believes that the future of NSW is “super bright”.
The NSW State Election will take place on Saturday 25 March 2023.
