According to France 24, a major military buildup has been observed on the Ethiopian side of the border with Sudan.

The reported deployment comes as fighting has intensified in Sudan between the Sudanese armed forces and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF).

Sudan and Ethiopia have each accused the other of supporting rebels operating within their respective borders. The report did not provide further details about the size of the buildup or the forces involved.
