The Minns Labor Government is delivering new infrastructure to the Leppington community to support more families and build better communities.
As a key growth area, the State Voluntary Planning Agreement program (SVPA funding program) will fund the delivery of essential infrastructure to the Leppington community.
Projects being funded through the program include:
- New traffic lights at the intersection of Heath Road and Byron Road.
- Upgrades to Park Road including culvert works.
The delivery of these projects is part of the Minns Labor Government’s plan to build a better NSW with more infrastructure and services, so young people, families and workers have somewhere to live.
Across NSW, the SVPA program will deliver nearly $56 million to key growth areas from the NSW Government with co-contributions of $30 million from local councils.
The new infrastructure is expected to support an additional 29,000 homes across the state as the NSW Government works towards its goal of 377,000 new homes under the National Housing Accord.

Minister for Planning and Public Spaces Paul Scully said:
“Intersections, pedestrian crossings, median islands and drainage are not just essential to support the functions of our daily lives, they are also the foundations on which successful housing developments are built.
