After the successful partnership with Sawt Sydney online radio, Mr. Remy Wehbe, the director of Oz Arab Media appeared on an interview with Ms. Nada Farid on the radio channel. A variety of topics was discussed including the partnership, Arab & Australian media, the situation in Lebanon, and the easing of covid restrictions in Australia, among other things.
Regarding Oz Arab Media, Mr. Remy discussed some of the inner workings of the newspaper as well as how it operates in Australia and abroad. This also included mentioning the team of technicians and contributors around the world. Additionally, he mentioned how successful the online newspaper has become on social media locally and internationally.
As for the situation in Lebanon, Mr. Wehbe stayed firm in his positive outlook regarding the future of the country stating that the election needs to happen and that Lebanon should start moving towards an impartiality; however, this is still a bit difficult due to the affiliations of the current ruling class. Regardless, he is optimistic about the current dialogues between the USA and Iran in Vienna and how they may have a positive impact on Lebanon.
